§ 01 — Before the flight — permits & legality
- Check the area on drones.enaire.es and identify the geozones affecting it.
- Confirm whether AESA authorisation or a standard-scenario declaration is needed.
- Notify the Mossos d’Esquadra if the flight is urban or over people.
- Check NOTAMs and temporary restrictions for the area and day.
- Confirm the public-liability insurance is in force.
§ 02 — Paperwork ready
- AESA operator registration marked on the drone.
- Remote-pilot competency certificate.
- Liability insurance policy.
- Any operation-specific authorisations or declarations.
§ 03 — Kit & batteries
- Batteries (drone and controller) charged and checked.
- Memory cards empty and formatted.
- Propellers in good shape plus a spare set.
- ND filters to control exposure.
- Camera and gimbal clean and calibrated; firmware updated.
§ 04 — Weather & light
- Wind within the drone’s limits and gusts under control.
- No rain; check humidity and temperature.
- Enough visibility to keep the flight within sight (VLOS).
- Plan the golden hour for the best light.
§ 05 — On site — safety
- Safety briefing with the crew and the client.
- Clear, marked take-off and landing area.
- Safety perimeter and control of bystanders.
- Contingency plan and return-to-home (RTH) point set.
§ 06 — Creative & delivery
- Shot list: shots, moves and durations agreed.
- Capture format and resolution (4K/6K, LOG/ProRes).
- Rights assignment and final use agreed in writing.
- Back up the footage before leaving.
