The bell tower of the church of Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla set against the sea is probably the most photographed postcard in the Garraf. Seen from the air, that white skyline at the water's edge turns a wedding or an event into an image that's hard to forget. Sitges lives off events all year round: destination weddings with guests arriving from half the world, festivals of all kinds, fairs, brand launches and private celebrations in farmhouses and estates nearby. An aerial shot of a packed seafront promenade, a stage set up right by the sand, or the couple leaving the church with the old town behind them is almost impossible to capture from the ground, and it's exactly what the drone delivers.
Working with a drone in this context requires preparation. Sitges is a dense hub, with hotels, terraces and people very close by, so every flight is planned in advance: where it takes off, which moments of the event it covers and how everyone's safety is maintained. Yes. Sitges is a dense tourist hub, with the seafront promenade, churches and hotels very close by, so every flight is properly prepared in advance. As an AESA-certified operator we study the setting, plan the take-off and, when the event requires it, we arrange the permits in Catalonia through the Mossos d'Esquadra so that you only have to focus on the event. Do you do aerial video of festivals and events in Sitges?
Yes. Sitges hosts many events throughout the year —from festivals and brand events to private celebrations— and the aerial shot of a promenade full of people or a stage by the sea is hard to achieve any other way. What is the best light for filming in Sitges?
For the white of the old town and the sea, early morning and the golden hour at dusk give a very pleasant contrast. For real estate we look for the time of day that best shows the pool, the terrace and the orientation. For weddings and events, we adapt to the programme of the event and choose the flight moments that add the most.
What do you deliver and how long does it take?
